Cooper Morgan
CS Master's '26 | Dev Intern @ SPIE

Hello! I'm a Computer Science Master's student at Western Washington University, graduating in 2026. I completed my BS in June 2025 and am currently working as a software development intern at SPIE. I'm passionate about building efficient, scalable software that makes complex systems easier to use.
My research focuses on cybersecurity, specifically adversarial DNS exfiltration detection and evasion using machine learning techniques. I'm exploring how attackers can mimic benign traffic during DNS Exfiltration to evade Intrusion Detection Systems.
Beyond security research, my interests span full-stack development, backend systems, and cloud technologies. I enjoy designing solutions that are not only functional but maintainable and scalable for real users.
